Shakespeare on Draught productions are made for the community, by the community.
That means you.
Find out how you can get involved in making actual Shakespeare magic in Atlanta.
sponsors
We work with a variety of local business partners to put on our magical, community oriented, free productions of Shakespeare’s greatest works. If you would like to help support one of the most exciting cultural events in Atlanta, please reach out directly to Artistic Director Elizabeth Ann Miller at elizabeth@shakespeareondraught.com.
Actors and musicians
Our performances feature actors and musicians from every corner of the Atlanta arts scene, and we practice gender-blind and color-blind casting. Auditions are held throughout the year on a show-by-show basis. If you’ve seen one of our shows and would like to join us on stage, follow us on Facebook or Instagram to be notified when we re-open submissions for our next audishindig (that’s a combination of an audition and a shindig, obviously).
**We eagerly encourage and welcome performers of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community! If you or anyone you know identify with these communities and are interested in this work, please reach out to us!**
Crew and volunteers
It takes a village to put on a production, and we are beyond proud to work with a dedicated crew of technical theatre experts and volunteers. If you want to learn how you can help out behind the scenes, please reach out!
We are always looking for people to work in the following positions:
Stage manager
Lighting, sound, production design
Audience relations, crowd control
On-book prompter
Merchandise and advertising
Event photography and more!
